South Central Nebraska Right to Life’s mission is to restore legal protection to innocent and vulnerable human life from fertilization through natural death. We believe that every human life is a precious gift created in the image of God. We are 100% Pro-Life, no exceptions.
Who Are We?
South Central Nebraska Right to Life a local affiliate of Nebraska Right to Life (based in Lincoln, Nebraska). Nebraska Right to Life is the state affiliate of the National Right to Life committee.
We are a single-issue grassroots organization that was founded in 1974. We provide educative, legislative & political resources and information about abortion, euthanasia and infanticide.
Our single issue focus means all donations go back to pro-life work, not into other issues that fall outside our purview. Pro-family or multi-issue groups have a burden for pro-life issues as well, but their focus is understandably spread across many issues, such as marriage initiatives, gambling and other societal issues.
Who Funds South Central Nebraska Right to Life?
We are funded largely by individual donations from pro-life Nebraskans. We receive no taxpayer funding nor are we funded by any single faith-based entity. We are not funded by any political entities or large political donors outside of Nebraska.
Where Do You See Us in the Community?
When you donate to South Central Nebraska Right to Life, you can be assured that your donation is staying RIGHT HERE, in our local community. We maintain a yearly pro-life billboard that rotates in different locations throughout Hastings, as well as provide a Pink & Blue Baby Flag display that can be set up in any church or front yard to demonstrate how many babies are murdered in an 8 hour day. We host fundraisers to bring in nationally-known pro-life speakers and free movie events throughout the year. We staff the Adams County Fair Booth in Hastings during their fair, as well as provide workers for the Nebraska Right to Life Booth at the Nebraska State Fair. We provide pro-life movies, banners and literature upon request. We also distribute literature on pro-life candidates during election season. We host and invite the general public to participate in Life Chain, as well as show a pro-life presence by walking with our float in various local parades throughout the year. We have also honored the Unborn Aborted Children by hosting a Remembrance Event annually. We maintain a social media presence on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, as well as this Website, so we can be a tool you can count on for the most up-to-date information when concerning any issues regarding the sanctity of life. We welcome volunteers for any or all of our events throughout the year. Please join us!!
