Walkers needed: THIS SATURDAY — July 14th — 9 AM:
We will be pulling the South Central Nebraska Right to Life float in the Adams County Faifrest Parade in Hastings on Saturday morning, July 14. All are welcome to join us walking behind the float to show that we stand up for life.
*** Registration is at 9:00 at the City Parking Lot in downtown Hastings (3rd St. & Hastings Ave). *** The parade begins at 10:00 *** Dress for the weather and be sure to put on sunscreen and a hat.
The float is a mobile billboard pulled by Larry Consbruck with a maroon F-150 Ford Pickup. We won’t know where we will get placed in the lineup, so just ask for directions at the registration table as to the direction of the entries.
You can bring strollers or wagons and decorate them any way you want for this parade. And you can wear a red t-shirt or top if you want. We have some pictures of babies on paint stir sticks that we can let people hold if they want. Some of us will drop tootsie rolls along the curb. The float is a mobile billboard and there is no place for us to sit on it. We walk behind it so people can read the sign. Sometimes we have a few people walk ahead of the pick up carrying our large vinyl sign.
Hope you can join us! Comment or message us if you can come walk!!
