South Central Nebraska Right to Life will host “Pro-Life & Pie” on June 8, 2025 at Lochland Country Club, (601 W Lochland Road in Hastings).

Our speaker is Cori Mooberry, a devoted wife, mother, and passionate advocate for life. Together with her husband, she is an active member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wahoo, Nebraska, where her faith serves as the cornerstone of her commitment to the pro-life movement.

As the proud mother of eight children, ranging in age from 21 to 4—including seven wonderful boys and one spirited little girl—Cori’s journey of motherhood has profoundly shaped her belief in the sanctity of life. Her dedication to the pro-life cause deepened through personal tragedy with the loss of her son, Abel Mooberry, a heartache that has transformed her into action. In honor of Abel, Cori and her family established the “Willing and ABEL to Fight for Life” memorial fund through The Catholic Foundation, ensuring that proceeds are used to support life-affirming activities in local communities.

Cori’s story is a moving testament to how faith, family, and personal experience can come together to inspire a commitment to the pro-life cause. Her witness highlights the profound impact of choosing life—an impact that resonates through her family, her work, and her community.

Doors open at 1:30 pm with program to start at 2:00 pm.  Pie buffet and coffee/tea is served.
